- They also use multimedia applications for almost all internal tasks, including drawing up ideas, projecting presentations, communications, record-keeping, making announcements, training employees, and making decisions. in
- While there are many popular business solutions out there, such as WordPress and Shopify, large businesses invest in their own custom multimedia applications, either by hiring in-house specialists or outsourcing them to multimedia agencies or freelancers.
4. Defense
- Advancements in military technology, the need for improving national security and the urge to stay ahead of rival militaries prompt governments and private military contractors (PMCs) to invest heavily in sophisticated multimedia systems that enhance their military capabilities, like improved interfaces for getting more accurate reports of targets.
- The most prominent example is the US government, with an annual military budget of $693 billion as of 2019.
